Welcome to nature and social Service club (Youth Camp).
Established Nature and Social Service club (Youth Camp), in 2023 at Lazzaro Academy with 37 members. The Nature and social Service club stands as a testament to our commitment to creating a positive impact on both the environment and Society. Through this club, we aim to cultivate a culture of responsibility, sustainability and empathy among our student body. Together, we engaged in various activities and initiatives aimed at preserving our environment and serving our community.
Objectives
- To foster an appreciation for Nature and Social Services among students.
- To encourage environmental conservation efforts and social awareness.
- To provide a platform for students to engage in hands on learning experience.
Activities
INAUGURATION CEREMONY
Our journey commenced with a grand inauguration ceremony graced by Mr. Joby Sir, Managing Director, alongside the unveiling of the bulletin box by Dr. Sachin, MBBS. It marked the beginning of our commitment to innovation and collaboration.
TREE PLANTATION
On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Nature and Social Service Club at Lazzaro Academy organised a tree planting initiative aimed at fostering environmental consciousness and sustainable practices with in our college community. The event took place on June 5th 2023 at Lazzaro Academy, with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty and staff.
VISIT TO ANJALI VIDYA NIKETHAN
Visited Anjali VidyaNikethan, Mathamangalam, Kerala.
It is a non- governmental organization in Mathamangalam, Kerala that serves people with disabilities and the elderly. The primary objective of our visit was to engage with the residents of Anjali VidyaNikhetan, learn about their experiences, and contribute positively to their well being. Additionally, we aimed to raise awareness among our club members about the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and the elderly.
WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION
The programme commenced, with an engaging skit performance by students, highlighting the challenges and triumphs faced by women across different walks of life. The skit portrayed narratives of resilience, empowerment and solidarity leaving a profound impact on the audience.
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT TRAINING PROGRAMME
The programme facilitated by experts from Sreechand Speciality Hospital, participants were equipped with fundamental techniques for responding to medical emergencies effectively. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, the class had played a significant role on students.
