The Indian Logistics industry which provides employment to more than 22 million people has grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.8% during last 5 years. The global ranking of the World Bank’s 2016 Logistics Performance Index shows that India jumped to 35th rank in 2016 from 54th rank in 2014 in terms of overall logistics performance.
